BANOR FUNDS EVENT
On November 12, in Milan, at Palazzo Parigi, the annual meeting with the managers of Banor’s fund range took place once again.
The Banor Funds Event brought together institutional clients and industry professionals to discuss key issues affecting and influencing market trends through approximately two hours of debate on the future of Europe, which many have called to unite in order to face the threat of American tariffs – not least by Mario Draghi – the recovery of the Chinese economy, and the new frontiers of the bond market.
Irene Elisei, journalist and television host of Class CNBC, who moderated the event, opened the proceedings with an interesting interview with CEO Massimiliano Cagliero regarding the new Trump era.
The morning featured the fund managers: advisors Dawid Krige from Banor SICAV Greater China Equity and Will Smith with the Banor SICAV Volta L/S Equity strategy; Francesc Balcells, portfolio manager of Aristea SICAV FIM Gem Debt; Francesco Castelli, Head of Fixed Income; Roberto Bianchi, manager of the QSF – Banor Global Asset Diversified fund; Angelo Meda, Head of Equities; and Gianmarco Rania, manager of the Banor SICAV European Dividend Plus.
The event concluded with a succinct summary of Banor’s vision by Chief Investment Officer Luca Riboldi: value should be sought in small-cap European multinationals, many of which are Italian, that are trading at a discount and have significant appreciation potential.
